You will know, from the moment you pass through our front door, that Big Hoffa’s is no ordinary, humdrum joint! We like to have fun while we’re preparing and serving Indiana’s Greatest BBQ, and that quality definitely shines through.

You may notice that we like Pirates when you visit…and that’s because BBQ officially got its start in the Caribbean! And just like the Pirates of yesteryear, our BBQ is legendary, thrilling, and full of flavor.  A few years ago one of our customers agreed and brought us some pirate-themed goodies, and thus a collection began. Now we love to receive all kinds of Pirate-related things from our friends who feel like Big Hoffa’s is a second home. You may even hear music from the famous “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies playing in the background while you eat…just say “Aaarrrgh” and join in on the fun!

The atmosphere is great, but if you want to know more about our food, here are just a few tidbits to make your mouth water: 

·  Our smoked pork ribs are so tender, they fall off the bone. We slow-smoke them for over 12 hours to achieve the perfect blend of juicy, tender, smoky goodness!

·  Our beef brisket, famous in its own right, is smoked for over 30 hours!

·  You’ve never tried homemade Macaroni and Cheese like ours…taken right out of Adam’s mother’s recipe files!

·  Our Pulled- Pork and our Chicken sandwiches, served with our homemade BBQ sauce, will melt in your mouth.

·  Our meats are slowly smoked for hours in small batches, then quickly fire-smoked to bring out the flavor. It is extremely moist, delicious, and packed with flavor!
